Maternity Care

The practice offers antenatal care through doctors and community midwives, with regular checks throughout pregnancy. Clinics are held weekly at the health centre, and delivery bookings are made at North Staffs Maternity Hospital or Macclesfield Hospital.

Smear Tests (Cervical Cytology)

Routine smear tests are conducted every three years for women aged 25-49, and every five years for women aged 50-65. Smears are typically performed by the practice nurse.

Travel Advice

If you’re planning to travel abroad, schedule an appointment at least 8 weeks in advance with our Practice Nurse. Complete a travel questionnaire beforehand so we can prepare the necessary vaccinations.
